SANTA JI IS BACK

Tuesday,25th December

Ever since the year 2008, when kids asked for a Christmas tree and Santa Claus for the festive eve, the day turned into a tradition in TARA. A tradition and a reason to get together each year and celebrate the end of another beautiful year. This time TARA family gathered in TARA Boys for the occasion of Christmas. Children seemed awestruck by the festivity of the day and exhibited sheer happiness. And the rest were awed by their ability to be astonished by the simplest of the things. For the series of events planned for this occasion, kids began by frolicking on the dance floor staged on the interlocking play mat, showing off their best moves. With a strength of sixty kids divided into four teams keeping in mind the festivity of the day, the games began. After a while even the staff and the guests joined the activities organized for the children, as nobody could dodge the fun and the festivity. After the games, everyone gathered near the beautifully decorated tree for the much-awaited ritual of the day, gifts..

One could experience a spectrum of emotions in the same room at the same time. Finally, Santa arrived as the whole room cheered for him. The event unfolded into an act of humor because of one of the nannies who caricatured herself as Santa. The drollery continued when everyone noticed how the faux beard masked the face of our Santa Ji completely. Tots smiled at the reality of Santa Ji and Boys playfully guessed the person who could possibly have disguised as Santa this time around. The room was filled with a comfortable clamor of laughter and chitchats.

An important tradition

For children, celebrations are one of the main sources of happiness. But on this festive day, the children were the source of our unconditional and sheer joy. In the true sense, what is Christmas? It is an occasion to meet your friends & family because you don’t just have a meal together, you are storing joy for life. Everyone is happy on Christmas and that was evidently true for the day at TARA. So the Christmas tradition is growing stronger and bigger ever since the year 2008 just like the family of TARA.

As the excitement receded after four exhausting sessions of interactive games and gift distribution, children settled down with full hearts to wait for the snacks to be served. We can all imagine the absolute happiness of such days in the life of any child, a day full of fun ending with gifts and favorite snacks. On a full stomach and with a content mind, the day came closer to the end of celebrations and to the end of another beautiful year 2018.

Children had effortlessly emoted the spirit of Christmas. There is still a part of them that wants Santa to exist but at the same time, they are all aware of the possibility of different people disguising as Santa each year. As teenagers giggled over Pascal’s efforts to make it seem real, Tots watched him with amusement and innocence emoting the purest form of belief on the fables of Christmas. After all, Christmas is not just a festival but a symbol of children’s belief in the beauty of life and hope for bright better days. With this we hope you also had a delightful ending to the beautiful year.
